I think that it’s extremely important that you never neglect your lips – ever! Regardless whether you wear lipstick or not . . . lip balm or a lip buffer will do! Burt’s Bees beeswax lipbalm is wonderful! There’s menthol in it, so it’s soothes your lips and tastes great too!

Personally, I like to go against the grain, and steer clear of the typical deep reds or crimsons . . .  I’m more of a “magenta” lady (I used MAC Cosmetics’ lip liner in magenta – don’t be fool . . . the photo does the colour absolutely no justice!).

I’m actually thinking of going on a “14-day Lip Treatment Challenge” (whatever that may be). I’ll figure something out . . . maybe purchase a different lip balm (not gloss) a day. The premise of the experiment – find a lip balm that meets all criteria according to this fashion junkie . . .  long lasting, great taste, does not create a weird film after drinking 2 cups of tea (it sounds disgusting, but ladies you know exactly what I’m talking about!!!). Geez . . .  how “recession-friendly” of me :P   Anyway, I’ll figure something out and keep you all posted!
